Terrell Suggs Says “Ink Not Mink” For PETA
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs is the latest posterboy for animal rights group PETA. In the group’s latest campaign, Suggs appears shirtless exposing his tattoos with the words “Ink Not Mink.”
Suggs challenges his fans to watch footage of an undercover investigation of how animals are killed for their fur in China. “I hit people for a living, and even I couldn’t bear just to handle the cruelty to these animals. … If you can endure through 10 seconds of the video, you gotta watch it,” says Suggs.
Suggs has joined other athletes including Chad Ochocinco, and Amar’e Stoudemire in saying no to fur.

Happy Halloween! Many athletes have been getting into the Halloween spirit, dressing up and sharing the pictures on Twitter. Here’s a round-up of a few athletes in costume:

Carmelo Anthony and son Kiyan both put on scary silver masks, but Kiyan’s trick-or-treating costume was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
Shaquille O’Neal posted this “Happy Halloween” message on Twitter via Tout.
New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire dressed up as King Solomon.
Phoenix Coyotes hockey player Raffi Torres caught some criticism for his Jay-Z costume, complete with a “pregnant” Beyonce sidekick (his wife), because of his use of face paint.
Where’s Waldo? Rick Fox dressed up as Waldo while wife Eliza Dushku was Carmen Sandiego.
Happy Halloween from Queen of Sports. If you’re dressing up tonight as an athlete, send us your pictures and we will post them here on the site!

Always fashionable New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire was at a Foot Locker store in Manhattan promoting his shoe collection last night, in particular the Nike Air Max Sweep Thru.
While promoting his new sneaker, Stoudemire told ESPN he thinks if the lockout lasts long enough NBA players will start their own league. “If we don’t go to Europe, then let’s start our own league; that’s how I see it,” Stoudemire said.

Posted in Basketball, MoviesMore Athlete Sightings At Costume Institute Gala
Yesterday we showed you Amar’e Stoudemire and Ciara leaving an after party for the Costume Institute Gala benefit that celebrated the ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ exhibition. Today, today we have some more photos with some nicely dressed athletes and stars! Feast your eyes on Tom Brady in a suit (doesn’t he look like he belongs in a Prada ad in a magazine!?) and his wife, model Gisele Bundchen. Bundchen paid tribute to the late McQueen by wearing one of his gowns.
Serena Williams was also at the gala, wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown and hat fit for a Royal Wedding. Her “bridezilla” look got her on some worst-dressed lists but we’re loving the gown. The hat may have sent it over the top, though.
What do you think of these star’s looks?

Amar’e Stoudemire was spotted with singer Ciara last night as the two left an after party for the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” Costume Institue Gala. The party was at the Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel in New York City. The two deny they are dating but are seen together often, hitting up the clubs and Ciara is courtside at almost every Knicks game. They make a cute couple, we back it!
